I'm having a party for my 18th this Friday & I've bought a sunshine yellow babydoll dress from Lipsy but I'm not too sure what eyeshadow colour I should wear.

I've got blonde hair, blue eyes & kinda tanned skin just now because I've just been on holiday :)

I'm wearing white/ivory shoes, silver jewellery & I'll more than likely be taking a silver clutch bag.

I don't normally wear eyeshadow but on nights out I tend to put on black or do smokey eyes cause it makes my eyes stand out quite a bit but both of those would look too drastic with yellow I'm thinking so any suggestions are welcome :)!
Hi,
For eyeshadow with your dress I am going to suggest a skin color cream shadow all the way to your brow and winged eyeliner. I think winged eyeliner will be a good contrast with the bright yellow. I would also suggest that because you are wearing a bold color like bright yellow that you use fake lashes unless you have a really good mascara that you prefer. At parties I find that there are a lot of pictures going on and fake lashes show up better in pictures (:
Happy Birthday by the way! I'm sure whatever you wear, you'll look great in it!

I'm 14 and I want a good eyeshadow palette that has neutral colors. There's some from NYX that I like but idk when I'll get to go to Ulta (and no I'm not getting it online). I was thinking of maybe some from ELF or something. I like palettes that have 4 or more colors. Any suggestions? (drugstore please) the name of the product and details please?
Thanks :)
Hello! I don't know how inexpensive you are looking to get but I do have a few suggestions.
If you are going for super inexpensive, okay quality I'd say something like the brown palette from L.A colors. It has twelve colors and it is only a dollar. Meaning, if you decide you don't like it, you aren't out of very much money, which is great. I've seen them at Dollar General and I'm sure most drugstores have them.
If you want more expensive, good quality I'd say something like Maybeline Expert Wear Eye Shadow palette which is around $8.50, has eight colors and you can get it at Walgreens and possibly some other drug stores around you (:
If you dont' find either of these to be what you want, you can always search YouTube for product reviews of neutral palletes. A lot of beauty "gurus" give great, helpful information that cannot be explained in text like what I'm doing.

A little bit about me: I have very fair skin that is combination (oily in the T-zone and normal cheeks) i have some redness around my nose and i also have quite a few blemishes on my forehead and one or two on my chin and nose. Right now i don't want to wear much coverage to give my skin a break and i am starting a new skincare routine so hopefully by the time i get back to school my skin will have cleared up a little. Other than that i have green/blue eyes and very small eyelids (which makes it hard to apply eyeliner without it looking dramatic). So i wouldn't like any foundation, maybe a tinted moisturiser. Something that would make me look really glowy and natural and enhance my natural beauty. Also before you say "DON'T CAKE IT ON" e.t.c i already know. I DON'T want to look like the majority of girls in my school aka orange foundation and raccoon eyes :D
Thanks and sorry for it being so long ^__^
Hello,
I'm 14 as well. I wear a lot of makeup for a girl my age. Though, I do not have orange foundation and racoon eyes, thankfully (:
I reccomend a tinted moisturizer(not oily) with a translucent powder. Both, if done right (tutorials on YouTube) will not look cakey. Plus the powder will help to conceal oily skin. If you do look cakey with both, spritz water on your face and blend
If the tinted moisturizer does not cover your blemishes/red places try a concealer. You can get stick concealer from Walmart for only a couple of dollars that works really well (:
For the glowing, fresh look: I'd say either get a highlighter for your cheeks or a light, shimmery bronzer. (Not too much shimmer & no chunky glitters!) Such as: Essential Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in Luminance by E.L.F.
For eyeshadow, eyliner, and mascara: I'd say get a light cream shadow such as a Cream Shadow in the color Candlelight by E.L.F as well. I'd say no eyeliner and a bit of mascara on top & bottom lashes. ( I use Collosal mascara. It kind of smells bad but it works really well)
I hope this helps. If you have any questions or comments you can inbox me! Thanks for reading! (:

I know a lot of you followed me for beauty tips which didn't exactly happen which is why I'm somewhat changing the point of my blog. I'm taking makeup/beauty/fashion related questions from Yahoo Answers and eventually probably other sites and answering them here on my blog. I find I can do a better, more detailed responses and I really enjoy answering them (: If you, my followers, have any specific questions, you can inbox me and I'll make a post of it. Make sure to include if you'd like to stay anonyomous though (: Thanks guys. Talk to you later today with a question! <3

So I don't know about you, but I want to go to the beach (: & I don't want to be so self concious. So I've been doing a bunch of research on how.

1) Slow down on the gum. If you chew a lot of gum, you might want to kick that habbit. It makes your brain think that you are eating and then bloats.
2) Of course, this is a neccesary evil. Eat healthy and excercise. There is only so much that tricks like these can do.
3) Drink a lot of ice cold water. It fills you up and it burns calories. How you ask? The colder it is, the longer it takes to warm up in your stomache. Your stomache has to do some work therefore you burn some calories.
4) Eat in moderation. Don't go from eating a whole cow to eating a hand full of rice. That will leave you hungry. Eat a little bit less than you normally would each time, it'll literally shrink your stomache. If you eat less then you weigh less (: DON'T STARVE YOURSELF THOUGH!
5) Situps and twisting from left to right with dumbells or even a broom handle will work your abdominal area, slimming your tummy. Don't expect to get results the first time you do it though, it takes a while.

Hope these helped! And I will say, I'm not for being super skinny and starving yourself. I think you are beautiful no matter who you are, what you look like, or how much you weigh. Love ya'll (:
